MOSES LAKE – On March 29, 2025, Moses Lake patrol Officers responded to report of shots fired in the 9800 Block of Olympic Dr NE. Once on scene, Officers found multiple casings in the street as well as bullet holes in multiple vehicles and an occupied dwelling. 5 people were asleep in the residence when the shooting happened, including 1 bullet that came within 3 feet of a sleeping 19 year old and 1 year old. Patrol Officers quickly identified a suspect vehicle.

Within an hour, patrol Officers located the suspect the vehicle at a residence in the 200 block of W. Knolls Vista Dr. Detectives arrived on the scene and obtained a search warrant for the residence and vehicle. Moses Lake Regional Tactical Response Team served the warrant, detaining multiple subjects from within the residence. During a subsequent search of the residence, Detectives recovered 12 firearms and evidence of cocaine sales. Multiple firearms matching the caliber used in the drive-by shooting were seized pending additional testing. One firearm was confirmed as being stolen from North Bend, WA. Two juvenile males and one adult male were booked into jail for 5 counts of assault 1st degree and drive-by shooting. Detectives believe this was retaliation for the previous homicide on Loop Dr on March 21st. The case is still under active investigation.
