OTHELLO — An overnight shooting in Othello led to the arrest of several juveniles on Friday. The incident occurred near the intersection of 3rd Ave. and W. Columbia St.

Dispatch received a call at 7:04 p.m. reporting a four-door sedan carrying “a bunch of juveniles” heading north on Third Avenue, with occupants firing shots in the area. Multiple callers reported hearing three to five shots.

Another caller reported seeing a group of juveniles running from the scene on foot toward First Avenue. That group was later confronted and detained at gunpoint.

Officers found five shell casings near the intersection of Columbia Street and Third Avenue.

No injuries were reported, and emergency medical services were not dispatched.
