ROYAL CITY — Four people are dead and one seriously injured following a semi vs. car accident at the intersection of Dodson Rd. and Frenchman Hills Rd. near Royal City Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, four people, two adults and two juveniles, were traveling in the cab of the semi truck. All four were taken to Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake with non-life-threatening Injuries.

The occupants of the car were all family members from Tacoma. The four deceased are Driver Martin Tran, 34, and passengers Joseph Tran, 69, Theresa Tran, 66, and Thomas Tran, 39. A fifth person, Michael Tran (age not yet verified), was airlifted to a Tri-Cities hospital.
