OTHELLO — Three Othello minors were arrested after smashing their car into a brick wall in Othello on August 6th. Police responded to 900 S. Third Ave around 4:35 a.m. Three Juveniles were found at the scene. Two tried to run but were prevented by leaving according to law enforcement. All three teens showed signs of alcohol intoxication.

Police determined which of the teens was the driver and arrested them on suspicion of DUI. The two other occupants were arrested on minor in possession charges. All three were released to their families later in the day.

Othello Police say that they have implemented policies regarding “failure to supervise,” which can hold parents accountable for the actions of their minor children when parents are not providing adequate supervision.
