ROYAL CITY, Wash. — One person is dead after a small plane crash near Royal City on Wednesday evening. The crash was reported around 5:10 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Adams Rd. S and Rd. 11 SW. The plane came to rest in a field across the road from the B&G Farms private airport.

According to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office, there was no fire or risk to the public. The pilot was the only person onboard.
