On May 10, a domestic violence incident in Othello prompted police to search for Isaac Fuentes Gomez, who fled the scene with a one-year-old baby. Officers responded to the assault report in the 900 block of S. 10th Ave. around 8:30 p.m. They set up a perimeter and conducted an extensive search using foot patrols, vehicles, and a drone. Fortunately, the baby was found unharmed. Isaac Fuentes Gomez was arrested and booked into Benton County Jail on domestic violence charges but was released without bail on May 12.
