MOSES LAKE – A 14-year-old boy is dead, and four others are injured after a drive-by shooting on Loop Drive in Moses Lake Friday night, according to Moses Lake Police Department (MLPD). The shooting was reported around 9:15 Friday evening.

The deceased reportedly died at the scene, while the four surviving victims were transported to Samaritan hospital.

No suspects are currently in custody, however an abandoned vehicle believed to be involved was located and seized. The Washington State Crime Lab is assisting with the investigation. Anyone with information about the shooting is encouraged to contact MLPD.

On 03/22/2024 Moses Lake Tactical Response Team executed a search warrant at 1518 Buell Drive in Moses Lake to recover evidence related to the investigation.

MLPD has issued an update on this case. None of the shooting victims are known to have gang affiliation.
