MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake Police Department’s Street Crimes unit intercepted a shipment of drugs passing through town early Friday morning.
A press release from MLPD says that their agency received information about the drug shipment on Sept. 18. Detectives “worked with the Moses Lake tactical team to set up an arrest of the suspect,” according to the release.
Police initiated a “take down” of the suspect vehicle in the parking lot of Winco on Stratford Blvd. During the stop detectives recovered more than 1/2 pound of methamphetamine, 1/4 pound of Fentanyl powder, a gun, and cash.
Joel Eveline, 42, from Tacoma was booked into the Grant County Jail pending multiple charges.
