WENATCHEE — Authorities have arrested a 40-year-old Casey A. Garrison in response to alleged threats made against children in Leavenworth. The arrest took place on Sept. 12.
The incident started when the party reporting the threats commented on social media content published by Garrison. The content, which the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office states was “celebrating the recent assassination of Charlie Kirk.”
Garrison responded by making threats to commit violent acts against children in schools. He allegedly stated, “You’re right, the next time your kids go to school, I will make sure they die from gunshots. Good riddance.” Garrison allegedly further commented, “Death will always find you, there is going to be another”, and “Remember Matthew Shephard? I want them to feel his pain. Make them feel it. If you challenge me on this, maybe it’s your child that gets shot in the head with a gun. If you disagree, death comes for u.”
