COULEE CITY — A rape suspect was found hiding under a clothes pile in Coulee City on Monday. Deputies located and arrested 47-year-old Kelly Joe Blackburn of Moses Lake inside a home he refused to leave. GCSO deputies had been searching for Blackburn for about two weeks after Pasco Police notified them of a felony warrant for rape.

A tip on Monday led deputies to a home on the 100 block of First St. Blackburn was eventually located hiding under a clothes pile in a bedroom. Blackburn is lodged into the Grant County Jail pending release to the Pasco Police Department.
