CONNELL — Connell police arrested two minors on Oct. 3 in connection with a September burglary at Connell Gas and Food Mart.
Police said the suspects, ages 13 and 14, used garden tools to break a window and enter the store on Sept. 25, stealing more than $1,000 in vape products.
Officers identified the pair with help from community partners, according to a department news release. Police said the suspects were planning to rob another local business when officers took them into custody.
Investigators have referred charges to the Franklin County Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office.
Police said they do not believe the Sept. 25 burglary is related to the August break-in at the Connell Dollar General.
