RITZVILLE — The first tally of votes is complete. Here are the early results for Adams County elections. The county estimates there are 500 ballots left to count.

Although turnout was low, Othello area voters seemed to embrace change. Ken Johnson is leading incumbent Shawn Logan in the mayoral race. Kelli Camp is leading Genna Dorow in the race for city council position 1.

Normally tax-adverse voters appear to have approved general obligation bonds to repair the community pool. Transportation benefit district funding is also passing.

Voters residing in Adams County Fire District 5 have solidly approved the district’s levy lid lift request.
