MOSES LAKE — A 19-year-old man wanted in Las Vegas was located and captured in Moses Lake on Nov. 4. In October, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Gang Unit and the FBI Task Force contacted the Othello Police Department seeking assistance in locating Savanh Klarck Singvongsa. “Singvongsa was wanted on multiple felony charges, including two counts of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon causing substantial bodily harm, and several counts of discharging a firearm at a person.” according to a release from the Othello Police Department.
On Tuesday evening, law enforcement located a 2011 Mazda in a parking lot near the Stafford Rd. McDonald’s in Moses Lake. Believing Singvongsa was in the vehicle, officers initiated a high-risk traffic stop. Singvongsa was arrested without incident, though two firearms were found in the vehicle. Luis E. Leyton, 28, and Jeremiah M. Lomeli, 19 were also arrested on firearms violations.
Singvongsa was booked into the Grant County Jail pending extradition to Nevada.
