MOSES LAKE — Moses Lake Police responded to a call from a teen who reported being robbed and assaulted near 7th and Balsam on Tuesday morning. The robbery call led to the recovery of illegal firearms, according to an MLPD release.

Officers were able to identify where the suspects were hiding and obtained a search warrant. During the execution of that warrant, they recovered two pistols and an illegally possessed AK-47 rifle.

ose Tinoco, 24, and two juveniles were booked for their participation in the robbery and assault. Zunem Sanchez-Clemente, 21, and Tinoco were also booked on weapons charges. Officers believe the incident is gang related.
