MOSES LAKE — A 17-year-old moses lake teen received non-life-threatening injuries in a suspected gang shooting Wednesday night. Moses Lake Police received reports of shots fired in the area of Fern and Gibby in Moses Lake at about 10 p.m. As they were responding, a teenage boy arrived at Samaritan Hospital with a gunshot wound in his leg.

Officers located the scene of the shooting and obtained a search warrant for an apartment complex located at 1701 Crouse Street. “Moses Lake Tactical Response Team (MLTRT) executed the search warrant due to the potential that the shooting was gang-related, and the search warrant was for guns,” according to an MLPD release.
