SPOKANE — A blustery Friday is in store for the Columbia Basin as the first cold front of fall blows through the region.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory beginning at 11 a.m. and ending at 9 p.m. Friday. The forecast calls for Southwest winds between 20-30 miles an hour with gusts to 45.

Blowing dust is a possibility and it may reduce visibility to less than one mile in some areas.

Temperatures will range from the mid 60s in the north to the low 70s in the south.
